Just a another quick note on the fedora situation... still no install. I determined that I had a total of 3 defective CD drives on Sunday, and tried with yet another one... which worked. finally. but now, I can't get it to boot. I just sits there with a error... nothing i do is easy. still i have some more time to look at it tonight, so I'll try reinstalling it (again).

such is life eh? still i just got me a bargain on a new leather wheelie chair, so the old one with the back tied on by rope is finally retired, and I sit in comfort now. came from Viking office supplies, if anyones interested. only £34.99.
